About Electrum
It might be better to say "About You".
There are lots of sterile, hotel room-style units in Champaign-Urbana. And that's great if that's what you want. But we like to think of our units as comfortable homes where you can relax while you stay with us, and remember fondly later. Our tenants have 29 years of memories with Electrum. That says as much about them as it does about us.

Since 1991...and for the next 30 years.
We started Electrum in 1991 after being treated more like a nameless number--or worse, a profit center--by the large landlords in town. So we've stuck by two rules: Treat our tenants the way we'd want to be treated, and never rent a unit we wouldn't live in ourselves. Our tenants have allowed us to serve them for nearly 30 years now. We look forward to the next 30 years and hope you'll consider staying with us, too.
