Alchemy House: Positive Change for Our Community
A project 30 years in the making comes to fruition
As we celebrate more than 30 years of providing homes in Champaign-Urbana, Electrum is humbled and honored to present
Alchemy House.
Funded entirely by Electrum and administered by C-U at Home, Champaign-Urbana's leading homeless advocacy organization, Alchemy House provides a stable, rent-free home for up to four people a year as they transition from homelessness.
After all, providing homes is what we do
This centrally-located, 1920s-era cottage features two private bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, a recreation room and a large yard. But above all, it provides the opportunity for our community’s friends without addresses to regain their footing for a better future.
Care to help?
We welcome Electrum tenants, past and present, and anyone who wishes to directly and positively impact those most in need in our community to become a member of C-U at Home's "Hope Givers" team. A small monthly donation can change our community.
